Crawford Technologies Announces the Release of PRO Version 3.2 Products


TORONTO, Ontario, October 15, 2007. Crawford Technologies Inc., the leading provider of transactional document reengineering solutions, announced today the release of Version 3.2 of its entire PRO family of software products including the core transform and conversion product lines and the document re-engineering, archive and workflow product lines.

New functionality in today’s Version 3.2 release includes:

• Searchable/readable PDF files after conversion, permitting full text search by customers and customer support staff
• Enhanced support for capturing floating data fields required for indexing today’s complex and dynamic documents
• Enhanced capability to add and change OMR marks and barcodes
• Additional font support for PCL files, including embedded True Type font support
• Conversion of True Type fonts to Type 1 fonts in PDF, PostScript and AFP output
• Enhanced support for AFP objects including PAGEDEF support
