Our PRO PS Normalization product interprets Postscript or PDF files and resources and converts them into standard normalized PDF files. Those individual normalized files contain text and images and are suitable for archiving in the Filenet system. PRO PS Normalization can select information from the print data and embed it into Bookmarks in PDF files while the conversion is being done.

CrawfordTech PRO transforms can also convert AFP, Xerox metacode, PostScript and PCL files to high-fidelity TIFF or PNG images of the business data, indexed, and, if need be, enhanced or restructured. The converted TIFF and PNG images are perfect representations of the original files, including overlays and other resources.

CrawfordTech customized utility, PRO Filenet Indexer, can automatically create index files while the print files are being converted to PDF. This integrated option provides support for the Filenet Capture, MRII and HPII import utilities.

PRO Split into Batches for the Filenet

The challenge here is splitting a large print file into batches small enough to work with the Filenet import utilities. CrawfordTech PRO Batcher option solves this problem by automatically setting the maximum batch size, placing the generated PDFs or TIFFs into batches and creating all of the necessary control files.

PRO Split into Subdocuments for the Filenet

PRO Splitter, another PRO Suite option, allows for the creation of subdocuments, e.g. individual statements, or invoices, etc. that are needed for use in the Filenet ECM system.
