The PRO Document Enhancer can:

• Add, suppress or sort pages and sets based on the contents of an external file, so that users can apply postal automation and one-to-one marketing techniques to applications running advanced print stream formats such as PostScript, AFP and PDF.
• Add human and machine readable codes for automation and quality assurance purposes in a print/insertion operation
• Process a single print file to create separate files for end customers who want to receive printed and/or electronically presented statements based on the contents of an external customer preference data file
• Modify existing 2-up formatted print files designed to run on continuous form printers to 1-up format for web presentment or for printing continuous form applications on cut-sheet printers. This approach improves operational flexibility, increases equipment utilization and operator productivity
• Add cover page before each subdocument (page set), if the name and address fields on the statements have not been positioned in the correct location to show through the window of the envelopes
• Add selective inserts to mailings for one-to-one marketing campaigns
• Break off a file from a report, every time a specified field value (e.g. report ID number) changes, to split off department or broker sections
• Extract account number and pertinent customer information to a fixed field or CSV file; the information can then be fed to other applications, such as postal automation facility, ADF (Automated Document Factory) or sorting software.
• Extract floating data from a print file and position it at standard locations in a PDF for use in the IBM Content Manager OnDemand
• Limit the size of print files to match the restraints imposed by Filenet's MRII and HPII ECM importing applications
• Add Planet Code barcodes to printfiles so that mailings can be tracked by the USPS
• Add item-specific keylines so the effectivenes of the mailing can be tracked by the originating organization
• Provide accounting numbers for paper stock, inserts and color usage
