PRO Meta to PS uses a print stream transform technology which accesses the Xerox print resources as they are needed. One of the keys to the success of PRO Meta to PS is its superior font mapping and fidelity. PRO Meta to PS has the flexibility to map fonts to either standard PostScript or embedded Type 1 fonts. The same font mapping rules apply to encrypted Xerox fonts.
PRO Meta to PS automatically converts Xerox images and .IMG files into PostScript compressed images and automatically embeds the images in the output PostScript file.
