Training
Crawford Technologies believes that education is important and as such we offer our customers and partners the following training:
PRO Product Training
On-site Customer training is available for PRO products, including Transforms, Indexing, Document Enhancement, Splitter,
Normalization and Reprint and Recovery. While this training is most often provided as a part of the initial Customer
installation and application setup (see Professional Services), it can be provided as new employee training, a refresher course,
or when a new application or transform is implemented. This training is customized to the Customer’s site and application
requirements to maximize your training investment. Contact Crawford Sales to get an estimate of the number of training days required to meet your specific PRO Product Training needs.
PRO API Developers Workshop
This one-day workshop covers the design of the PRO Interpreter and the Application Programming Interface.
It is designed to provide programmers with the knowledge they need to harness the power of PRO and develop their own drivers for PRO.
PRO Troubleshooting Workshop
This one-day workshop is designed for the Technical Support staff of an organization that is marketing technology based on the PRO suite of products.
It covers the following areas:
- Proofing customer applications
- Xerox resource acquisition. Getting the right files
- Print stream analysis. Evaluating the customer data
- Successful Installation hints and tips
Xerox Print Architecture
This half-day presentation is designed to provide staff that do not have previous exposure to the Xerox print architecture with an overview of the Metacode and DJDE architecture,
and give them an understanding of the terminology used in this marketplace.
Xerox JSL
This two-day workshop covers the Xerox Job Source Language (JSL) and Dynamic Job Descriptor Entry (DJDE) language.
It provides the student with an in-depth understanding of the most important commands and is slanted towards understanding applications which have been developed by other but need to be understood in order to modify the application.
Xerox Resources
This half-day workshop provides the student with an intermediate level understanding of the Xerox Centralized Printer Resources including:
- Fonts
- Forms
- Logos
- Images
- Forms
The course covers the various formats and flavors of the Xerox Centralized Printer Resources, and looks at some of the key internal structures inside the resource files. The course reviews the resource files to determine their internal structure as well as the hex file dumps.
