    Crawford Technologies received the Xplor 2008 Innovator of the Year Award for the PRO Document Enhancer, our document re-engineering application.

    Receiving the Award are Ernie Crawford, President of Crawford Technologies, Stephen Poe, VP Product Management, and Stuart Warner, VP Marketing & Sales flanked on the left by Skip Henk, Xplor.

    The PRO Document Enhancer allows the customers to:

  • Replace a PostNet barcode with an Intelligent Mail Barcode (4 state barcode) to get the maximum postal discount.
  • Add electronic inserts to a PDF file to match the physical inserts placed into the envelope.
  • Add a new 2D barcode to more efficiently drive their mail inserters.
  • Add an individually customized URL links to PDF files to drive their click-through rate higher on on-line viewed statements.
  • Commingle smaller production print streams, resort them to get their best postal discount, and then add appropriate barcodes to the new unified stream.
