Preference Management: The Key to Your Customer Communications Management (CCM) Strategy?

Presented by Xplor International, Sponsored by Crawford Technologies

Register for this webinar below.

The term Customer Communications Management (CCM) isn't new to the Enterprise Output Management industry, especially not with the amount of customer communications distributed on a monthly basis. It used to be there was only a single channel a bill, statement or notice could be distributed to, but today that has given way to many different channels including traditional print and mail, mobile, apps, email, SMS messaging, Digital Mailbox Services (DMS), archive systems and new technologies we have yet to see come to market.

As organizations move from a single communication channel and format to multiple channels, they need to relate each of their document recipients to the appropriate channel for that recipient. Many organizations have systems in place to track their customers, either a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) or Customer Information File (CIF). Some of these systems have rudimentary channel support, such as online, paper or both. The challenge is today's marketplace is evolving and new channels are becoming more important. Then you have to consider the accessible formats such as Braille, Large Print, e-text, audio and PDF/UA; all of which will be required in your Multi-Channel Customer Communications (MC3) management and delivery strategy. The result is a lot of data and a lot of possible paths for delivery- paths that are being driven by the end customer.

Join us to find out why Preference Management is the missing link in most companies' MC3 management strategies. Most importantly learn how you can use it to kick-start your Multi-Channel strategy and get you in the game.

PDF/UA the Magic Bullet for ADA Transactional Document Compliance

Presented by Xplor International, Sponsored by Crawford Technologies

Register for this webinar below.

Or is it? For transactional document providers that are responsible for delivering regulated and required information to the end-customer, PDF/UA may be the saving grace. What is PDF/UA? In short, it is a new ISO standard for accessible PDF developed and approved by ISO committees from around the world. By using this ISO standard it is now possible for persons with disabilities to reliably and consistently access digital documents. That statement alone raises a lot of questions that we will be posed to our Crawford Technologies expert and ISO PDF/UA committee member, Dave Hook. Dave is the Vice President of Product Management for Crawford Technologies and long time Xplor participant. As such, it is his interest and job to be the leading authority on new technologies such as PDF/UA. Join us as we pick his brain on how PDF/UA might solve huge barriers and costs to delivering ADA compliant transactional documents to customers—some might say a magic bullet. Or are there other considerations that have yet to be discussed that could cause your organization a regulatory and customer satisfaction nightmare…not to mention increased overhead?

Join us for this educational webinar on the latest development in PDF technology and methods for supporting those with disabilities as required by the American Disabilities Act. Have your questions ready for Dave as we put him in the hot seat.

Document Re-engineering Smackdown: GUI Versus Configuration Files

As document production providers, there are many requirements that are key to keeping your production environment running smoothly. In fact, the more optimized and efficient your processes are the better you are able to serve your customers' production needs. For anyone that has been through, or is going through an evaluation of their current print-stream and document re-engineering tools, you have probably run up against the argument for or against Graphical User Interfaces (GUI). The long standing tradition for print-stream indexing and document re-engineering applications is the use of text-based configuration files. Knowledge of the print-stream you are working with is also required to make all the functions work together in harmony.

So it begs the question, in a no-holds-barred smack down, who will win? Do you put your money on the more intuitive and visually friendly GUI or the powerful and flexible configuration file or is there a need for both? Find out who comes out on top and who "cries Uncle" during this educational look at the stage of production workflow environments and the methods available for designing, implementing and managing all these configurations.

Production Workflow Battle Royale – GUI vs. Configuration Files; Who Will Win?

Presented by: Dave Hook, Director, Product Management, Crawford Technologies & Don Maxwell, Professional Services & Support, Crawford Technologies

Watch the replay of this webinar below.

Crawford Technologies invites you to join us for a lively discussion that challenges transactional workflow users to think about whether using a GUI or configuration files is the best way to manipulate and work with their data.

During this discussion Dave Hook and Don Maxwell will be going head-to-head, looking at the pros and cons of both techniques.

As you consider what method you are using today, think about these considerations when moving to a GUI in your workflow environment:

  • What skill levels do I want to utilize to implement and manage my transactional document workflows and applications
  • Is it more productive for an advanced user to modify configurations directly or for a less experienced user to use a graphical interface?
  • Can you design your workflow visually?
  • Does the introduction of a GUI solution require a rewrite of your current applications?

For many years some people have advocated for the use of configuration files to work with, manipulate, change or re-engineer transactional output workflows, while others insist on a GUI. Today, with multi-channel distribution, mobile apps and the user interface being king, it might be time to consider a switch to a GUI.

Which method will come out on top? The results might surprise you…

Place your bets as the experts at Crawford Technologies face off against each other in a Workflow Battle Royale!

Rapid Transpromo - Implementing Transactional One-to-One Marketing in Double Time

This webinar was originally presented on January 19th, 2010.

Transpromo printing - adding promotional messages to your transactional documents such as bills and statements - is fast becoming the number one client communication trend. But Transpromo printing projects can take months to develop and implement, increasing costs. However, the benefits of using Transpromo messaging against traditional direct mail are phenomenal, with ‘open rates’ of 98% and clients examining the contents for between two and five minutes or more.

Presented in partnership with leading analyst firm, InfoTrends, and CrawfordTech user and communication specialists, Salmat, this webinar describes how Transpromo is changing the face of transactional output. If you are interested in high-volume client communications, adding personalized marketing to your transactional documents or cutting existing Transpromo project time-scales - and budgets - by up to 70%, this webinar is for you.

Transpromo: Print and Electronic Strategies

This webinar was originally presented on June 3, 2009.

It features Laurie Shaw, Senior Solutions Architect at Salmat's Business Force unit, the leading business services for print and associated services in Asia and the Pacific Rim.

Laurie describes here two Transpromo projects he has worked on using CrawfordTech solutions. The first is for a large bank that has successfully managed a print-to-web migration. The second is a large Credit Card company that is printing targeted marketing content into the whitespace on existing bills and statements based on loyalty point amounts for each customer.

Please view the webinar to see how each of these projects was completed, cost-effectively, in a matter of weeks and without disrupting existing processes.
