Crawford Technologies PRO Transform Plus Achieves Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle WebCenter Content 11g

Transactional documents that are in print and COLD formats can now be loaded into Oracle repositories via a validated solution

February 3, 2015, Toronto, ON – Crawford Technologies, a Gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of PRO Transform Plus Version 3.0 with Oracle WebCenter Content 11g. Now virtually any collection of electronic documents, including high value financial reports, transactional statements, invoices, customer letters, etc., can be committed to an Oracle repository via an integrated process. Once in Oracle WebCenter Content, because reports have been loaded as usable content, Enterprise Content Management (ECM) tools such as business process management and analytics can now be utilized.

To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. CrawfordTech PRO Transform Plus supports a wide range of print and Computer Output Laser Disk (COLD) document formats including AFP, Line data, HP PCL, PostScript, Xerox LCDS/Metacode, and others. It can commit documents into fully text-searchable PDF output, including PDF/A Archive and PDF/UA Accessible Document formats.

“End-users of Oracle repositories can now profit from leveraging previously inaccessible information assets such as mainframe financial reports and transactional documents which in the past may have been archived to COLD storage devices,” said Ernie Crawford, president of Crawford Technologies. “We are always striving to better serve the ECM market and achieving Oracle Validated Integration is an important landmark.”

”Achieving Oracle Validated Integration gives our customers confidence that the integration between PRO Transform Plus Version 3.0 and Oracle WebCenter Content 11g is functionally sound and performs as tested,” said Kevin O’Brien, senior director, ISV and SaaS Strategy, Oracle. “For solutions deployed on-premise, in the cloud, or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner’s integrated offering.”

The integration of PRO Transform Plus with Oracle WebCenter Content 11g can help:

  • Commit inbound transaction document streams to Oracle WebCenter Content 11g
  • Transform, split and index inbound transaction document streams
  • Handle APF, Line data, HP PCL, Xerox LCDS/Metacode, PostsScript, and other inbound document streams
  • Transform to PDF, including PDF/A and PDF/UA

CrawfordTech PRO Transform Plus integrates with enterprise applications that generate reports across the enterprise. The solution manages existing print and archiving workflows, directing them to reach the Oracle WebCenter Content 11g repository properly.
