Malulani Bria Recipient of 2015 EDSF Scholarship Honoring Chuck Forman


September 14, 2015, Toronto, ON –Malulani Bria has been awarded the third annual “Charles H. ‘Chuck’ Forman – Crawford Technologies” Scholarship through EDSF (Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation). This scholarship was created to honor the contributions Chuck Forman made throughout his career towards Crawford Technologies and his industry. Chuck lost his battle with cancer on October 2, 2013.

“Malulani’s achievements are outstanding and we are thrilled to see her receive the third annual EDSF scholarship in Chuck Forman’s name,” said Ernie Crawford, President of Crawford Technologies. “She definitely has a very bright future and we predict that she do great things throughout her career.”

Malulani Bria is is entering her sophomore year at ‘Parsons – The New School’ in New York City with a major in Fine Arts in Communication Design. Some accomplishments that led to her receiving this year’s scholarship are:

  • Dean’s list for Spring 2015 for earning a GPA of 3.7 and higher
  • Recipient of the following awards:
    • Parsons – The New School Presidential BFA Scholarship Award 2014-2018
    • Parsons – The New School Dean’s BFA Scholarship Award 2014-2018
    • Pagel Graphic Arts Scholarship Fund Award 2014-2015, 2015-2016
    • Charles H. “Chuck” Forman – Crawford Technologies Scholarship 2015-2016
    • Donald Driver Foundation Scholarship Award 2014-2015
    • Kelben Foundation Scholarship Award 2014-2015
    • UNICO-Milwaukee Chapter Scholarship Award 2014-2015
    • Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF) Board of Directors Scholarship 2015-2016
    • United States Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Scholarship Award 2014-2015

The “Charles H. ‘Chuck’ Forman – Crawford Technologies Scholarship” awards $1,000 annually to a bright, up-and-coming full-time student committed to pursuing a career in the document management and graphic communications marketplace.
