We are pleased to announce the release of CrawfordTech version 4.8. DTE or Digital Transform Engine, which is the foundation of the CrawfordTech portfolio, encompassing our document transformation and reengineering technology in addition to accessible conversions and other supporting solutions.
Among a variety of new features, we are most excited to announce AutoSense with this release.
AutoSense is an addition to our PRO Designer for Accessibility interface for automatically sensing fields in a document when users are setting up rules for creating accessible documents significantly reducing the time to configure complex documents.
A few other new capabilities in DTE 4.8 are:
- Support for creation of PDF 2.0 output for organizations moving to PDF 2.0
- The PDF Normalization module can now add elements to pages without having to interpret the entire pages, providing great speed increases while performing document reengineering tasks such as adding barcodes to documents
- When accessible PDF files are created, a new feature allows the reporting of untagged elements providing better assurances that documents are WCAG compliant
And many other enhancements that continue to streamline document conversions and reengineering tasks for our growing customer base!
If you are a customer or partner and would like to learn more about the enhancements in DTE 4.8, it’s not too late to sign up for next week’s webinar on December 5. Product Marketing Manager Stephanie Pieruccini will be joined by professional services and accessibility maven Aimee Ubbink to discuss this release in more detail.
