IBM Insight 2015 – Lead in the Insight Economy

At this year’s Insight 2015 attendees can expect to see how leaders in the Insight Economy are applying insights to uncover trends, discover patterns, recognize opportunities, create markets and change the industry. Attendees will be able to fuel their business or IT transformation with more than 1,600 in-depth educational sessions, including technical training, hands-on labs and industry use cases presented by more than 1,000 industry experts.

Ernie Crawford and Jay Baumgarten will be presenting in two sessions. Join Ernie as he discusses Canadian Federal Government Case Study: Creating Accessible Documents. He will describe how ePost, Canada Post Corporation’s electronic payment and presentment solution, is used by the Canadian Government to distribute electronic mailbox content to Federal employees and pensioners in Canada. Bill C78 requires all HR payroll, pension and communications to be accessible by Canadian Government pensioners and staff. The challenge for the Canadian Government is that most electronic mailbox documents are not accessible. Crawford Technologies’ PRO Transform Plus for Accessible PDF provided an automated, high-speed remediation solution, allowing AFP-based documents such as pay stubs, tax receipts, pension statements and newsletters to be made available to the Canadian Federal Government retirees. This session will take place Wednesday, October 28 at 1pm-2pm, Mandalay Bay North Convention Center Level 0 room: South Pacific I.

Jay’s session, Output and ECM, City of Glendale Riptide Story: Mission Critical Documents for Courts and Police, talks about how by utilizing Crawford’s award winning Riptide solution, the City of Glendale was able to automate the distribution and output management of case files stored in the repository. In the words of the Glendale City Government Project Manager, “the Riptide solution made all the difference, changing ‘days and hours’ of work into ‘minutes and seconds’ as the tasks of copying, collation and hand stamping were eliminated.” One of the key results was that staff was able to be reallocated to more productive tasks. A representative from the City of Glendale IT department will describe how the City of Glendale used P8 and Riptide to support critical police and court applications. Attend this session Monday, October 26 at 11:30am-12:20pm, Mandalay Bay South Convention Center Level 1 room: Data & Content Management Center, EXPO.

If you stop by booth #871 at IBM Insight you can talk to our experts one on one to discuss these key solutions that add communication capabilities to any ECM business solution.
