MAILCOM is coming back to Las Vegas, for The Management Summit for Mail, Distribution, Facilities and Government Professionals. MAILCOM is the world’s largest education organization for mail communications. At this annual event from September 22 – 24, you will learn the latest strategies from the industry’s top experts.
These topics will include: postal regulations compliance, operations cost reduction strategies, government services management and support services management.
For the delegates who attend at least six sessions within a track, plus the designated keynote, and have their participation certified by the proctor they will receive the designated Management Certificate. This certificate can be applied towards the Masters Certification in Mail Communications (MCOM) program and as education credit in the Certified Mail and Distribution Systems Managers (CMDSM) program.

AM119: Paper vs. Digital: Compare and Contrast This session we will explore the pros and cons of digital mailbox services and the impact of Zumbox closing its doors (and other alternative distribution methods) and the USPS. Both have their place, but how will you adapt to support the desires of your customers? We will look at traditional mail, digital mailboxes, drop boxes, mobile mail and mail for the visually impaired. MS302: Lowering the Costs of Your Mail Center Operations Costs remain high and manpower low, as we are all expected to do more with less people and less budget money. This session will review the methods to lower specific costs in your mail operation. The concept of PIE will be introduced as a method to lower costs as will ways to counter the “hidden costs of mail increases” will be identified with methods to assist in lowering your postage spend. Attendees will learn a step-by-step process to follow and how to put together the results for management evaluation.
