2014 has been an important year for Crawford Technologies. This year we have seen the launch of our newly redesigned website with a focus on improved usability and a responsive design. The Phase I of our redesign, the look and feel, launched ahead of this year’s Xploration 14 and received positive feedback from our customer and the analyst community. However, the March re-launch was just the tip of the iceberg. Since then we have re-launched our Crawford Technologies Blog and begun work on what will be our Phase II improvements for our partners. We look forward to announcing these improvements in 2015’s first quarter Crawford Courier.

Those have not been the only changes in the last year. We have brought new solutions to market during 2014 that continue to provide industry leading innovation to the customer communications industry. These innovations span the archive and ECM, output management and document accessibility markets. Some of the important achievements this year include:

  • Launch of Redaction Solutions for Customer Communications Management (CCM)
  • Sponsored AIIM Research Whitepaper on Customer Communications Archiving Trends
  • First Whitepaper Addressing Output Management for ECM
  • Release of SunRise, First IBM CMOD Web App Server
  • Release of an EMC Certified Solution for storing documents in InfoArchive
  • Television Feature on “World’s Greatest!...”

I am truly excited by all of the advancements the Crawford team has brought our customer communications industry throughout this 2014 season. And I invite you to click on the links above to learn more about these important and thought leading advancements.

In closing, I would like to highlight a few articles featured in this edition of the Crawford Courier.

For our enterprise customers producing high volumes of customer communications, I suggest you check out our Document Accessibility article discussing the latest Document Strategy Podcast we participated in. The podcast covers PDF/UA, paper alternate formats and website accessibility.

If your organization uses IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD), our article entitled ”Unlocking The Power Of Your IBM CMOD Investment” is a must read.

With the holidays approaching, our thoughts turn naturally toward giving, family and community. Please take a look at “Responding to Our Community: New Policies Allow Crawford Employees to Give Back”, an article which discusses a new volunteer program we have rolled out to our employees.

I hope you enjoy this edition of the Crawford Courier and wish you and your family a happy holiday season.
