October is always an exciting time of year at Crawford Technologies. Many of you that have worked with our company over the last 16 years probably know that we finish our fiscal year at the end of September. October is a new beginning for us where we can reset, put new roadmaps on the table and continue our quest to create the innovative solutions our customers have come to rely on.

The last year has been exciting for us and I would like to just take a moment to reflect on the people that have made it possible: our customers, partners, the media and our employees.

Since last October CrawfordTech has seen a lot of change. This year we have seen the introduction of new innovations, new market-leading products, and new solutions that will help customers in the print and mail industry. More than ever, we’re helping our customers re-engineer documents, automate workflows, transform print-streams, extend their ECM systems, integrate Digital Mailbox Services into their workflows and control both their multi-channel delivery and customer preference management.

Along the way we have also been honored to be listed by PROFIT Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in Canada, and we have been added to the Branham300 list of Top ICT Companies in Canada. Recognition of our growth and industry standing is a trend we expect to continue into the future.

Then there are our people; Crawford Technologies has been built on a foundation of experts in the print, mail and archive industries. For 2012, we have seen the addition of many employees in each of our worldwide offices, and we added ASE Technologies, a company dedicated to helping organizations get more value from the content in their Enterprise Content Management systems..

We welcome all of our new hires and ASE, now a division of Crawford Technologies, to the CrawfordTech family. Without the continued addition of these top industry experts, CrawfordTech would not be where we are today.

As this edition comes out many people are traveling to GRAPH EXPO in Chicago. Crawford Technologies will be there in the GREENspace Booth #2839 demonstrating all of our products including the six recently announced products. Highlights include our Graphical User Interface (GUI) innovations in PRO Designer, PRO Production Manager and PRO Channel Manager. These GUIs provide additional value to our existing customers who can incorporate them into their operations. Additionally, we are excited to bring our IBM Content Manager OnDemand Software Developer Kit (CMOD SDK); we will be giving live demonstrations of this technology at GRAPH EXPO, IBM Information OnDemand (#1025) and Document Strategy Forum (#208). Be sure to stop by to see the future of Enterprise Output Management and Enterprise Content Management solutions.

This issue of the Crawford Courier is filled with content to help you drive your business forward whether you are looking to make your ECM or archiving system more efficient, investigating the intersection of your automated workflow and customer communications management or trying to figure out the requirements of a document accessibility solution. I hope the topics resonate with your current business needs and if you have feedback, we would love to hear from you via media@crawfordtech.com. The year ahead will be an exciting one, and we look forward to sharing it with you.
